Williamsburg Police Department - Law Enforcement - Private Group Session - Western Massachusetts - Pioneer Valley

September 24, 2019

Several times this year, and with the intent to make Brazilian Jiu Jitsu a part of their regular training, The Williamsburg Police Department spent time with our BJJ Instructor Gary Alvarez Jr. Gary is a former Corrections Officer of the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office and has a Master's Degree in Adult Education & Training. As such, the grouping was a natural one made possible by Team Link Northampton BJJ Blue Belt and Sergeant at the WPD Jason Soukup. Officers train efficient body mechanics, self defense and control techniques, working against armed and unarmed suspects, and general awareness in high pressure and physical situations. Chief Denise Wickland has shown a revolutionary and advanced intent to arm her Department with skills that go beyond the standard, to ensure public safety and positive outcomes in interactions between her squad and the public.

If you're in Law Enforcement or Security, Team Link Northampton is waiting for you!

Book a class on line or drop by the Academy on 141h Damon Rd - Northampton Mass!
